HON. NATASHA OSAWARU DEBUNK DRUG ADDICTION ALLEGATIONS

 


It has been rumoured that the popular Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru of being a drug user and also addicted to it usage in recent times on the social media attributing to her energetic personality and youthful spirit. Though the law maker has denied all rumours of drug addiction but it still would not go away.

These rumours emerged after a series of viral videos of her and the popular Nigerian music star 2Baba lively moments following their recently acknowledged romantic relationship.

In a recent interview with entertainment journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, Natasha addressed the gossip. “I entered the Assembly at the age of 28, I am 29 right now, so when people see people with that kind of energy, what do you want them to say?” she asked.

The law-maker also expressed her disregard for online criticism, stating, “All this alleging and alleging, I don’t care about them because I am who I am and a happy person…I don’t even have an Instagram account, so I don’t get to see or read all these allegations…I am not personally on any social media, so whatever you are telling me now that people are alleging will be the first time I will hear it.”

Natasha further emphasized; “I am focusing on my career, and I am blazing on it, and that’s all I care about”.

NIGERIA’S FOREIGN RESERVES IN MOTION AS IT RISES TO $23.11 BILLION, HIGHEST IN 3 YEARS

  It has been reported that Nigeria’s net foreign exchange reserves have risen to $23.11 billion in the first quarter of 2025, the highest in over three years from 2021 to 2024, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) announced this on Tuesday 1 st April. That these reserves reflect the country’s actual foreign currency holdings after accounting for short-term liabilities like FX swaps. This rise marks a strident increase from $3.99 billion at the end of 2023, signalling improved liquidity and renewed investor confidence. Gross external reserves also climbed to $40.19 billion, up from $33.22 billion. According to Central Bank’s governor, Olayemi Cardoso, he explained that growth was attributed to policies aimed at reducing FX liabilities and boosting foreign exchange inflows, particularly from non-oil sources (tax, etc.). EFCC DECLARES AISHA ACHIMUGU WANTED FOR ALLEGED MONEY LAUNDERING

  It has been publicised by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that the person in the picture who bears the name Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu has been declared wanted for her alleged involvement in a case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering. Following a public notice released by the anti-graft agency, the 51 years old Aisha, is said to be an indigene of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State with her last known address being listed as 6C, Rudolf Close, Maitama, Abuja.
