Most times, people struggle in life because of certain things they are either unaware of or unable to stay away from.
These things corrupt the flesh and hinder progress.
God is admonishing us through His word to renounce and resist the corrupting ways of the flesh.
Below are the things to renounce and resist in order to have a prosperous life:
1. Renounce and resist the Condemned Corrupters -Jude vs 4
The condemned corrupters are those who have been corrupted completely by the world and are out to lure us into their corrupting ways. The Bible admonishes us to renounce and flee away from them.
2. Renounce and resist the Perishable Prodigals/ Backsliders - Jude vs 5
Some people have left the Christian faith like the prodigal son and have gone deep into the world. You must stay away from such people because they are doomed and might pull you along.
3. Renounce and resist the Accursed Angels -Jude vs 6,7
The Bible enjoined us to renounce and resist those who claim to be sent by God and preach things contrary to the will of God. These false teachers are referred to the accursed angels.
4. Renounce and resist the Filthy Fornicators - Jude vs 08,09
Filthy fornicators are those who loves to defile themselves with the opposite gender. God warns us to stay away from them so that they don't lure us into the deadly pleasure of sin.
5. Renounce and resist the Defiant Despisers - Psalm 12:03
These are those who boldly oppose, resist, despise or fight against the faith or people of God.
6. Renounce and resist the Ignorant Infidels - 02 Peter 02:12
These are people who do not believe in God or His religion. They do not believe in God's word.
7. Renounce and resist the Banished Balaam - 02 Peter 02:18
These are those that have been cast out from the presence of God because of their evil ways.
8. Renounce and resist the Conspiring Korah - Numbers 26:09,10
Bible warns us to stay away from conspirators that always seek or conspire to bring others down.
9. Renounce and resist the Wanton Wanderers - Jude v 12,13
Wanton wanderers are unruly, undisciplined or immoral people who wander about seeking those to lure into their fold.
10. Renounce and resist the Abominable Apostates - Jude 14,15
Apostate are those who have turned their backs on God or faith. They are abominations before God.
11. Renounce and resist the Coveteous Complainers - Jude vs 16
Stay away from those who are never satisfied with what they have and always covet after other people's properties. These coveteous people are chronic complainers.
May God in His infinite mercy give us the grace to renounce and resist all the things that will hinder our progress in life.

Donald Trump cries as USA records 1,150 deaths in less than 24 hours. The united States Of America ( USA ) has recorded 1,150 coronavirus deaths in less than 24 hours. Johns Hopkins University disclosed this late Monday. This has now pushed the country’s toll further above the 10,000 mark reached earlier in the day. According to Johns Hopkins’ running tally, there are more than 366,000 cases of new coronavirus in the United States — including in excess of 30,000 new cases in 24 hours — with total deaths at 10,783. The US has by far the most number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world. The number of deaths recorded since the start of the pandemic has for the past several days increased by at least 1,000 per day and is gradually approaching the number of deaths in Italy (16,523) and Spain (13,005).
