Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, has called out Nigerian lawmakers over their proposed bill to ban the importation of generator.
It will be recalled that, yesterday, during its plenary sitting, a lawmaker had proposed the bill the to ban the importation of generator. The bill which has passed first reading did not sit well with Nigerians as they want to government to first provide stable electricity before it considers banning generators.
The singer in a Tweet on his official Twitter handle on Friday afternoon described Nigerian senators as: “ Fu*king Dickheads”.
His tweet read in full: “Fu*king dickheads. Give us 24hrs electricity first.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea Player, Callie Hodson Odoi who reportedly tested postive for Coronavirus has broken his silence.
In a video posted on his official Instagram handle on Friday morning the player thanked fans of the club for their support and good wishes. He assured fans that he was fine and can’t wait to see them all soon.
His caption read: “Thank you for all your good wishes, as I said in the video I’m feeling good and hope to see you all soon!!”

Donald Trump cries as USA records 1,150 deaths in less than 24 hours. The united States Of America ( USA ) has recorded 1,150 coronavirus deaths in less than 24 hours. Johns Hopkins University disclosed this late Monday. This has now pushed the country’s toll further above the 10,000 mark reached earlier in the day. According to Johns Hopkins’ running tally, there are more than 366,000 cases of new coronavirus in the United States — including in excess of 30,000 new cases in 24 hours — with total deaths at 10,783. The US has by far the most number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world. The number of deaths recorded since the start of the pandemic has for the past several days increased by at least 1,000 per day and is gradually approaching the number of deaths in Italy (16,523) and Spain (13,005).
