When will Nigeria learn to respect us?

Few days ago the Innoson Company, expressed willingness to produce ventilators if Federal Government places an order. Innoson an indigenous motor company has the capacity to mass produce ventilators from their Nnewi Plant, could be a handy option in supplying this piece of equipment needed for COVID-19 patients who are in critical condition.

The American gaint automaker Tesla, led by Elon musk had earlier announced free ventilators for any Nation that is in need of it, of which the Federal Government through the budget Office and Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari begged for it.

Nigerians Speak
Innoson actually offered to produce ventilators if the federal government placed an order but instead they're publicly begging Elon on Twitter for a giveaway. Nigeria, is it a curse or it’s incompetence? I’m really struggling to understand.

Funnily enough, Elon's ventilators aren't actually ventilators, they are BPAP machines used to treat sleep apnea. If the government did it's due diligence, it should have spotted this. Innoson asked for support to produce ventilators but oh well he's Igbo and not dangote.

Donald Trump cries as USA records 1,150 deaths in less than 24 hours. The united States Of America ( USA ) has recorded 1,150 coronavirus deaths in less than 24 hours. Johns Hopkins University disclosed this late Monday. This has now pushed the country’s toll further above the 10,000 mark reached earlier in the day. According to Johns Hopkins’ running tally, there are more than 366,000 cases of new coronavirus in the United States — including in excess of 30,000 new cases in 24 hours — with total deaths at 10,783. The US has by far the most number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world. The number of deaths recorded since the start of the pandemic has for the past several days increased by at least 1,000 per day and is gradually approaching the number of deaths in Italy (16,523) and Spain (13,005).
